Greenside waitlist privacy

What we collect

When you join, we store your email address, signup time, the version of the email-update disclosure you accepted, and campaign labels from the link you followed. We use this to maintain the interest list, send release updates and invitations, and understand which campaigns attract interest. Joining is not a purchase, subscription payment, or guaranteed invitation.

Visits and abuse prevention

We measure page loads and interactions such as starting the signup form, clicking Join, playing the preview, and a successful new signup. A random browser-tab identifier groups these into approximate sessions; it is not a cross-site or cross-device identifier. We record campaign labels, referring website hostname (not the full referring URL), broad device category, and approximate country from the network connection. We do not send your typed email to interaction analytics. Anonymous session details are retained for up to 90 days and cleaned up as new events arrive. A separate browser-tab marker also supports our earlier aggregate visit counter. We also use short-lived hashed network identifiers to limit abuse. Application code does not save raw IP addresses. Our hosting provider may process network information and security logs when serving the website.

Storage and access

Cloudflare hosts the website and signup database. Access to signup records is restricted to operating Greenside. We do not sell waitlist emails or provide a public list of subscribers. If we add an email delivery provider, it will process addresses to deliver the updates you requested; this notice will be updated before that integration is used.

Leaving the list

Use the private removal link shown after signup or email support@greensideyard.com to request removal. Keep that link private. A repeat signup does not disclose an existing removal link. Marketing emails, when enabled, will include an unsubscribe option.

Retention and choices

We keep your signup until you request removal or the list is retired. Removal deletes the active signup record; backups and provider security logs may persist according to their retention settings. Aggregate visit counts do not contain your email. Hashed abuse keys expire after at most two hours and are removed during subsequent requests. You may request access, correction, or deletion through support.

Audience and updates

The waitlist is intended for US adults interested in lawn care. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We will update this notice when our practices change and identify the new effective date.
